For many, it's a day you can go back to the late decades fashion. Here are some examples of many girls and also celebrities which got into the hippie wave for the festival, but of course, not forgetting what's totally in now-a-days!

From all these stunning looks we mustn't forget about shinning on comfort clothes!

What Would She Wear: Lourdes Maria

The eldest daughter of the queen of pop Madonna is only 16 and has already adopted a sense of style considered fashionable and also grunge. Since she has started working with her mother in the well-known Material Girl at Macy's, Lourdes has been seen wearing various clothing pieces that are very inspiring!

We can see that the teenage likes to invest on jeans, boots & wild accessories.

However when it comes to events, Lourdes surely knows how to give her style even more glam, although she doesn't let go of her rock n' roll style! I'm sure we can get inspired by them!

Book & Movie: Memoirs of a Geisha

Directed by Rob Marshall, the original story created by Arthur Golden ''Memoirs of a Geisha'' has surprised many. Demonstrating the real life in Japan after World War II, we learn how many girls had to live in a world completely different from home.
After being sold to a geisha district in Japan by her father, a fisherman, young Chiyo, with different and  peculiar eyes, is forced to work on the okiya - geisha house - she was sent to, while receiving humiliations from those around her, especially Hatsumomo. But for her own luck, she came across a generous man, who she wishes to come across again.
During her cruel adolescence up until she became a full geisha highly admired and desired by many, Chiyo had proven she was capable of anything to get away from the disturbing and poor situations she was living through. Showing her courage and great will, she finally get rid of Hatsumomo, her rival.
Although the film generated polemics for having Chinese actors in a Japanese story, the readers did not have any disappointment, for the actress and protagonist Zhang Ziyi new exactly how to become a geisha on the inside and out, making the production even more realistic and surprising.

Personally, Memoirs of a Geisha is the best book I have ever read, for it contains so many surprising moments with mysteries. I highly recommend it for I absolutely love everything about it!

All over again - but different!

The time to go back to school has come. Meet new people, make new friendships, learn new things... It never stops.
Today was (finally) my first day back to school and I really felt like a veteran since I entered the school last year! At the same time I thought this would a refreshing start, but I've forgotten that since I've entered my new classroom and none of my friends were there! :( And not only there's already homework, I've also got two period lessons for P.E on plain Monday!!
It might be a great chance to meet new people, I may be a bit more independent since I will spend a lot of time working on my own. That couldn't be so bad.
Oh, and also today I went back to my Japanese lessons and things are getting way harder and I've discovered my name wasn't spelt correctly in the foreign language! tee-hee! Well, at least I have my friends in the same class, the only thing that changes was the teacher obviously, since I'm a level higher now.
I think this year I will have a bit more pressure than last year, since my last year of school is approaching day by day.

How was your first day back at school or at any activity you do out of school?

Sayonara!  - Andy.
