Guardian Angel

As we all know, tomorrow is Mothers Day and there's still a great number of sons and daughters that haven't got an idea of what to get their Mum! I am indeed, one of them.
I have found some really great ideas which doesn't take a lot of time and money to get done. After all, mothers appreciate simple things given by heart. Giving your mum a hug and spending the day with her can make her impressively happy and satisfied!
Here are some examples of simple and pretty gifts we can make ourselves or have a quick run at the shop and waste little time and money on.

Sometimes a box of sweet treats can make her really happy, for it's something no one would resist!

We can all make the day special by being present and remembering our mummy's day. But don't forget to have the best day with her, for she is the only person that after many days arguing, and keep getting on your feet to do what she says, she will always be there by your side through every wrong step or choice you have had, she will always be with you whether she's near or far.

Happy Mother's Day!

Sitting in the Dark

Recently I have noticed that the more my problems are solved, the more they appear in my life. When I think that I've done everything I had to, I get surprised with a new 'something' that just ends my year. I try to be positive and carry on calmly and find some way out of everything crumbling on top of me, but there are absolutely no way out. I don't know how many times I've cried during showers, or tried talking to someone. Avoiding problems is something I am seriously not good at.
Many people who looks at me have the first impression of me being a normal girl with a perfect life and everything I want, or just a simple girl that no matter what, always carry a smile on her face. Having a bad day is something that happens frequently in my life. I try not keep banging my head on the wall, over thinking the situation witch I found myself in, and this is the way I find to carry a smile.
My only way to avoid thinking about everything that happens and causes problems for me is running to my books, or spend the whole days listening to songs which are relative to the situation I'm in. Sometimes I try opening up to someone, but the consequence is never as I expect.
Unfortunately, problems are something there is no way to completely run away from. I only wish they would end in some way or other. This way, I could carry a smile that had no mystery or wander behind it.

Should I give up, or should I just keep chasing pavements even if it leads nowhere

New Life

First of all, I want to apologise for not updating this blog. I've realized it's been a LONG time! There has been so many things going on, and I couldn't keep up with the blog.
So I've moved to the Capital! And it's been quite a big change 'cause I've been living in a small town that didn't even have a cinema! I am pretty much loving the change. As soon as everything settles down, I'll get the blog REALLY updated with news (; ~

As If It Was Yesterday

So today I will be writing about nothing more, nothing less than London.
                                                                   - photo from 2010 -
To begin with, I first arrived in London on the 30th June, 2006, and I was only 8 years old at the time. Many things have changed since then. I have been very surprised at the lifestyle of the British. Differently to what I was used to, I started to live that way. Getting to know new people, a new language, and new culture had been a great experience which I carry with me today. The big city gave me adrenaline, and it was awesome to get that feeling, especially on cold, snowy days ~ *------------*. I got used to the idea of London very quickly, and every time I went out on the streets of London, I felt like home. There was nothing better than seeing a souvenir shop every street corner, and rushing to get a little something :}}

Here's some of my babies that I couldn't resist buying <3

A thing that I also got pretty surprised over, were the British fashion taste. Although many young girls decide to dye their hair, or wear too much make up, they have their own style. With this I was capable of realizing that we can be ourselves without fear of being judged. There's even a borough which is considered to be the 'mad/crazy people's place'. You may be familiar with the name, for Amy Winehouse have lived there - Camden Town.

Another thing that I can say, changed my ~soul~ was food. At first, as many - I believe - always think, food is not gonna be the same, it's not gonna be 'good', but you get used to new tastes so quickly, you don't even notice the change. For people from different countries and/or culture, there's no way you can't eat your country's food once you're in London, simply because there are many stores which sells a specific country's products, and of course, we can't forget the restaurants!
Don't forget: once in London, always in a different country - YES! You may be Italian, but there are thousands of options for you to choose from, such as Brazilian, Japanese, and Chinese restaurants.

Living in London for 5 years, I had the chance to visit many touristic places. Most of which, seemed more like a dream. I've learned that the British likes to spend their time at museums and historic places and buildings.

-Trafalgar Square-

One thing there's no way to forget, is school. It's very very different to what I was used to. Although at Key Stage 2, there were already a lot of subjects. And yes - there's no way to not like it! :D Getting to a Secondary School was such a great feeling, I'm sure every year 6 feels that way :3 ~ AND OF COURSE, the trips, there were many many trips. During school terms, and end of school year we used to go to a Theme Park with our class. It was a nice way welcoming the holidays! Here's some pictures from a school trip to the Shakespeare Globe Theatre.

Sadly, on the 5th of March, it made a year I've left London. To be honest, it seemed more that a week. Many things has happened in only one year. But of course, If I had the chance to, I's go running back to London.  Being a British for 5 years was an experience that there's no way I can ever forget. I'll carry this experience with me throughout my whole life... I <3 London

And The Award Goes To...

The BRIT Awards 2012 happened yesterday, 21/02/12, at the 02 Arena in London. It is the biggest event in British music, in which British artists comes together to know who's the lucky one to get an award. Although many people think there's nothing involving Americans on it, they are very wrong, for many American artists also show up at the event. This year, for example, we've had Rihanna performing We Found Love, Florence & The Machine performing No Lights No Lights, and many more!
Adele, as always, was one that took home two awards! One for British Female Solo Artist, and one for MasterCard Album Of The Year!

While making her speech, she got cut by James Cordon. In protest, she flipped her middle finger up.

Who also made it big, and took home two awards was Ed Sheeran. Getting the British Male Solo and British Breakthrough Act award!

Taking home the International Breakthrough Act, Lana Del Rey couldn't hide her happy tears while making her speech: ''This award means much more to me than you know and I just wanna say that without the support of everyone in this room and everyone in the UK I'd really be lost so thank you, I love you.''

Blonde, Blonde, Blonde! Ri Ri took home the International Female Solo Artist award!

Bruno Mars was presented with the International Male Solo Artist award!

Voted by many lovers, and fangirls - I'm sure! - Coldplay accepted the British Group award.

OMG! The One Direction boys left all their fans breathless when presented with the British Single award! Of course, who wouldn't vote for these hotties?!

Foo Fighters were presented with the International Group by no one but Queen's Brian and Roger!

And so the Outstanding Contribution To Music award went to Blur!

We shall have patience waiting for the next BRIT Awards to come, but let us have our fingers crossed for our favourites to keep on winning!

And I Just Can't Get Enough

                                                         Hello to all!
This is the beginning of something that I plan on being something big, and in this blog I'll show my world, fashion taste, and music obsession through pages. I get inspired and amused very easily, and hope that I can share every moment with you guys!
