The City of Samba and Brazilian Carnival

When February arrives the whole country knows it's time to face on of (if not) the biggest cultural event. For centuries, huge groups come together annually to represent themselves on the 500 metre large catwalk, showing what their fantasies and a lot of samba!

Although it may be a bit weird to think that thousands of people come together to celebrate the beginning of Lent in such a way, it's a six-day party with non-stop music and outdoor parties in which they wear costumes.

As you could see in the photos above, women generally has a very small percentage of the body covered. That is because they best represent the theme based on their parade, knows as 'bloco'. All of these 'blocos' choose the theme or culture they want to represent by constructing attractive percussion and entourage of revelers. While some represent different continents, others chooses to represent historical facts such as tribal indians that were the first inhabitants of the country.

Even though this is the most traditional way to celebrate Carnival and also represent samba at it's best, there's a lot of other ways to celebrate this event around the country. Going norther or southern, the music style varies as there is local singers and bands performing in huge Trio Eletricos. Along with it, there is a massive number of people behind it enjoying as much as themselves. It is a sort of on-the-streets concert and it's very popular.
In these Trios the most common music style played is 'Axé'. It is a ritual greeting meaning 'good vibration', and that is what they have for leftovers! Great well-known bands and singers are: Claudia Leitte, Ivete Sangalo, Daniela Mercury, Asa de Águia, Chiclete com Banana and many more!

Here's a short video from last year's Carnival in Rio!

In a short film directed by Guy Ritchie, the hot footballer has shown he still has everything really well going on!
In the campaign for the latest men collection for H&M, David represented so good I'm sure no one will regret checking the collection online!

I'd like to know if anybody didn't at least have a smile on their face while watching lady's man David nearly naked! ;P

WISHLIST! #2

1) Canon EOS Rebel T4i: This camera has the capacity to take really high quality photos and also video quality. Even though the T4i has an even better photo quality, I would most likely to get this expensive-but-lovely (I really love it!) camera, for I really like to film new things but there's no such good quality camera I've interested on. After all, there's a long time I don't take pictures I like!
2) Instax Mini: Yes! The more the merrier! This little camera is a sort of modern Polaroid. Although the instant photos are smaller, there's no way one cannot fall in love with it. It's fun to take spontaneous photographs for hanging or sticking on dairies! I love it <3.

What Would She Wear: Cara Delevingne

Recently covered on the UK British Vogue Magazine, the young model has been inspiring lots of girls with her catwalk fashion and style.

But out the catwalk, can we also get inspired?
In a recent interview, the 20 year old confirmed that she enjoys wearing jeans in the summer and dresses during the winter! She never lets go of jackets and boots also.

The blue-eyed sexy also knows how to add some glam to get a rock n' roll fashionista style!

The British model doesn't miss on the shorts. After all what's pretty must been shown!

While in a night out she goes for a more glamorous look with accessories and (most of the times) heels!

We could learn from this looks that Cara absolutely loves black and boots! But whatever she wears she'll be stunning and beauty is what's never enough for her!

I hope you've enjoyed!
Tell me which of these was your fave or must-have!
